Well, this week was quite enjoyable. First on Monday after school, I went to Emi's house. We talked for a few minutes and got her vegan cupcakes and veggie platter ready for the GAPP meeting. Then we went to the meeting, which really made me realize that I am actually going to Germany! I'M SO EXCITED!!
Tuesday was the Concerto concert with the orchestras. Before the concert my mom and I went to El Rio Grande. She had never been there before and she loved it! We got to talk for a long time which was very nice as we are both always so busy. I had my usual - Veggie Platter #2 (two bean burritos covered in cheese sauce.) The concert went well. After the concert was over, I got to talk with my old orchestra teacher for a while which was nice. Then, a bunch of people and I went to Culver's, like we always do after an orchestra concert. This was hilarious!! We were kind of loud... especially because we were laughing the entire time! I love Selena's laugh! I had a short chocolate shake and small fries, as usual. Wednesday I had to work. I worked at 5 PM, and the weather was nasty. It was so windy and rainy. After my shift, I go outside and try to unlock my car. The locks were frozen and you couldn't turn the key. UGH! So after trying various methods to get in, I called my dad and he picked me up. I had to leave my car over night.
Thursday started out horribly. My hair wouldn't cooperate, I spilled my oatmeal all over myself, the counter, cupboard doors, and the floor, I was late to school, and my car wouldn't start. It was still at McDonald's. It got slightly better as I got to school. Near the end of the half day of school, the Badger Conference Large Group Band Festival took place. We had to wear formal wear. I brought my tuxedo and planned on changing right before we went on stage. Yeah... my white undershirt was not in my tuxedo bag!! I had to wear a t-shirt under my coat. It looked SO stupid! I felt stupid too. But oh well, things happen. We played Windsprints and Symphonic Dance No. 3 Fiesta very well. When we finished playing, we were critiqued by the judge person.
After this, Tony took Emi, Taby, and me in his car. He dropped Emi off for her babysitting. Then, we went to McDonald's to pick up my car, as the temperature had risen a considerable amount since the night before, and the sun was shining on the locks. I easily get into the car, but when I turn the key in the ignition... Lights and dinging, and then nothing. My battery died! This is the second time this year it has died... hmm... So we left it there again and went to eat at Taco Bell. I had a bean burrito with no onions, some potato wedges, and a crispy potato soft taco (which I asked for with no sauce or lettuce.) The lady with the mustache who took my order said "it doesn't come with sauce." I said it did, but she just denied it. Of course, the sauce was still on it. Oh well, it was only a dollar. Then we dropped Taby off, and we went to the high school to meet up to go laser tagging with Chamber Strings. Well, Bryce, Laura, Shaylee, Emma, Kaylie (Jewdy), Tony and I. We got all the way to Ultrazone and they were not even open yet! LOL! So we decided to go the mall, which was equally as fun. There was a display for this outdoor living space company in the middle of the mall, and we made it our summer home. It was beautiful! We went to the Apple store and had a ton of fun with iPads... photos! They are on facebook as well. That was a blast!

The past week has been hectic. I worked SO much. Finally, I began to sleep again. Last Saturday, I did some lighting for our local Hospital's fundraiser. It was like Dancing With the Stars, just with local people. Before the show started, while reaching for the house lights dimmer, my hand hit the take control button and the house lights blacked out. LOL.
Today began as any normal day of school. Got up at 5. Got ready. Wend to 0 hour. Went to 1st hour. But then... all of the orchestras at our school departed to see the Madison Symphony Orchestra (as we do every year.) The bus ride up was super... I took pictures of unsuspecting people, and Tony gave a 'catholic sermon' in his Irish accent. It was beautiful.
After arriving to the Overture Center, we filed inside and listened to the beautiful music for about 1 and a half hours. It was wonderful... especially the soloists. There was one on violin and then one on the piano. The pianist was the best. She was a sophomore in college and won the highest award. I cannot describe the music in words.
After our stomachs began sounding, the concert finished and we headed on over to Monona to eat. There is a Noodles & Company, Red Robin, Buffalo Wild Wings, Taco Bell, Starbucks, and a few other food places. After getting off our bus, people started jogging towards Noodles. Of course I went to Noodles! Tony, Nicole, a few other people and I ran to the door. I was the first in line... and the line behind me grew FAST. It went out the door! I ate a small macaroni and cheese, small tomato bisque, and one flat bread. Oh was it ever orgasmic! After some talking and munching, some of us moseyed on over to Starbucks. There, I bought and sipped a Vanilla Bean, which is my favourite. YUM! I also was lucky and got a free tall drink! Yay for randomness!
We had to leave shortly after that to go back to school. I had to go to 6th hour still... geometry. EW. There was a substitute and the work was extremely easy.
After my school day was complete, Tony and I went to the auto parts place, and they gave me some estimates for my brakes. Then, we went to Wal-Mart and I bought some hairspray and engine coolant. My coolant was dry-empty! No wonder it was overheating... LOL.
Then I worked at 4. The damn shamrock shakes NEVER END!!! Especially because it's St. Patricks Day.

My brother is gone, and no school!

This week was a three day week for school. Thursday and Friday we just have off. I didn't go to school on Tuesday (yesterday) because my brother was leaving for bootcamp in Texas for the Air Force. My mom and I drove to Milwaukee to see him sworn in. It was very interesting. Everything was so clean! They let me take photos and videos! They were SO nice. She and I waited for over an hour and 45 minutes for him to be briefed in a separate room. The swearing in only took a few minutes. I'm planning on putting it up on YouTube. When this was done, my mom and I talked to him for a few minutes before he had to leave for lunch. It was different. We won't see him for at least 8 weeks.
After our final goodbyes, my mom and I began our journey home. I took pictures of a water tower... it looked funny and was huge! We stopped in Delafield for lunch. We went to Applebees and I had a delicious alfredo pasta with some bruschetta. YUM! I also had an amazing mango lemonade. We talked for a long time and it was very nice.
We left and drove home. I then cleaned my room up a bit and went to pick up my car from my emergency brake cable getting chopped off at the auto place. They also fixed my front right blinker! YAY! After getting home, I was asked to go pick up some pizzas at Papa Murphy's. So I drove back to town, picked up the pizzas, and went back home. I reach for my wallet to give my stepdad the change and my wallet was gone! I left it at Papa Murphy's. I was very nervous and was freaking out. I got it back though, which is great!
This is very unorganized, as is my brain right now, with too much happening all at once. Hopefully some of this post is understandable.

No school!

Today as I was awakened by my alarm clock at 5.00 AM, I turned on the news as usual. To my surprise, school was closed. I was a bit confused at first as I was still waking up. Those protests are still going on in Madison, and Scott Walker, being the stupid fucker that he is, is still going for passing this bill.
I was called into work for 11.00 AM. This gives me something to do today, and adds to my check! Yay!
I should still get rid of lots of my stuff... I need to reorganize my room.

Well this should be fun…

Yesterday, my car started making funny noises. I found out it was the brake line. It is hanging underneath. It makes loud sounds while driving over 30 MPH, and when I brake. Hopefully I can get it fixed soon!
It is 7.16 AM. Our substitute did not show up for Chamber Strings! So, we are in the library. We are going to check soon to see if we can get into the orchestra room to play hide and seek! We love playing hide and seek. LOL.
I work five days this week! I can't wait for my paycheck.

Well, I've been really stressed and depressed lately. All I have been doing is being negative, letting things get to me, and getting frustrated over small things.
Well no more! I need to be a more positive person. If something bothers me, fuck it. It will be forgotten in a few hours or days. So why make a big deal about it?
Every idiot customer at work pisses me off. Why not just laugh about it? Why do I choose to view it negatively? It really is pretty funny how stupid some people are.
If someone gets mad about something and it bothers me, they will forget about it tomorrow. So why make a big deal about it?
Why do I do this to myself? Why do I care about spending money on things? It's just money, not life.
Why is it when someone says something about me, and I get defensive? Even if it is untrue, does it really matter in the scheme of life?
Life is not long enough to live it getting stressed over little shit.
I think it's time for a change.
I need to learn to blow off the little shit.
I need to be better at expressing my cares.
I need to be in touch with my inner-self.
I need to give zero shit about what others say, think, or do.
I need to be more positive
I need to be a better me.

Worked today… and dropped something somwhere…

Well, I worked for 8 hours today... which was not bad as I was not in cash for even a minute! We were all going crazy though. I was so loopy! When I was salting the fries, we have a salt shaker that we keep above the station, I dropped the entire shaker INTO the fry vat!! It then started to cook the salt and plastic. I freaked out and was like "what should I do??" and Erin grabbed the fry skimmer and cracked up so hard, so Steven had to eventually get it out and get it to the sink. Oh it was so funny!
And now, I must do some projects and homework for school... yeesh. Then, make my lunch for tomorrow and go to sleep. School tomorrow!

Working a lot… buying a lot!

Well on Wednesday the 2nd, we had a snow day! After our 18+ inches of snow. It was so nice to sleep in until 7.50 am! Much better than getting up at 5.00 am if you ask me. No rush or anything, ah it was nice.
Aside from the shoveling, it was quite fun. I recorded my driving to town in the late afternoon on the way for work... and may put it up on my oglogla channel.
So the past few days I have been buying quite a bit of clothes on eBay. I can't wait until they all come! Pants, shirts, accessories, yay! I really need a wardrobe makeover - some colour and things besides just band t-shirts.
I also am starting to put up some of my things that I do not use on eBay. Yay!
Well, I worked tonight and we had nonstop customers for over an hour. And when I say nonstop, I mean nonstop. There was apparently a hockey game, which explains the huge rushes.
I work the next few days for decent length shifts. Fine by me!

Today I got up as usual, got ready, and while my breakfast was warming up I went to warm up my car... it was very unpleasant outside. Snow drifts up the wazoo! My road does not get plowed, and we have VERY steep hills on the edge of the road. The snow I was going through on the road was literally up to the bottom of my bumper. Neither my car or I liked it. And now as I type, in approximately 11 minutes the big part of the snow will be hitting us. Up to 20 inches of snow between 3PM and tomorrow morning.
I should probably head home...
As you may have guessed, I am not very fond of winter. I think the snow is beautiful... but only when it is in pictures.
I am going to record the road going home.
There will definitely be school tomorrow regardless of what everyone else is saying... I just don't like to get my hopes up and be bummed out the next day when we DO have school. Our district sucks with delays and closings... they never do either! And at LEAST 1/4 of the students in the district live more than 4 miles out into the country. Personally, I live like 20 out but all well.
